Home Care for Surgical Patients

 
Our goal is to help patients achieve and maintain their maximum level of independence and wellbeing. By providing the appropriate education and skilled services, patients are able to safely remain in their homes once home health is no longer required.

Have an exacerbation of an existing illness or onset of a new disease process, but not necessarily limited to:
  • Recent hospitalization
  • Unable to function outside the home without the aid of another person and/or assistive device.
  • Any surgical procedure that requires skilled service
     

What can home health care do to assist patients post surgery:

  • Dressing changes /wound care

  • Enteral/parenteral feedings /Instruction
